Gilcrease Museum Tulsa, Oklahoma
One of the most haunted places in Tulsa is Gilcrease Museum which is believed to be haunted by none other than Mr Thomas Gilcrease himself. It seems only natural that he would want to keep an eye on his museum and staff have confirmed seeing him here and there around the building since his death in 1962.
He also makes himself known by slamming doors and via the sound of his footsteps. However, the museum has been the subject of many a paranormal investigation over the years and it is said that Mr Gilcrease is not alone here.
Witnesses have reported seeing the spirits of a number of Native American children running around in the museum. Children have also been seen playing in the garden and people often say that they have heard laughter when nobody else is around.
All in all, it is thought that there are at least 7 spirits in the museum, and all are believed to be friendly!

Pettigrew House and Museum
South Dakota
The beautiful old Victorian home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota was originally built in 1889 for Thomas and Jennie McMartin. However, it would become known as the Pettigrew House in 1911 when Senator Richard Franklin Pettigrew returned to South Dakota and purchased the home.
Pettigrew, who was born in Vermont and moved to Wisconsin with his parents in his youth, finally settled in what was then the Dakota Territory. When South Dakota was admitted as a state, Pettigrew became its first U.S. Senator. He served from November 2, 1889 to March 4, 1901. After briefly moving to New York to practice law, Pettigrew made his way back to Sioux Falls and purchased the McMartin home.
Pettigrew was somewhat of an amateur archaeologist and collector. In 1925, he chose to display his collection of Native American artifacts, natural history specimens, and memorabilia related to the early days of Sioux Falls in his own little museum in the back of the home. Pettigrew would pass away a short time later, on October 5, 1926. While playing cards with his wife in his upstairs study, Pettigrew suffered a stroke. He died a few days later in his bedroom. However, his legacy and dream would live on. Pettigrew left his home and his collection to the city of Sioux Falls under the condition that the museum be maintained. Presumably, this was the occur AFTER his wife passed away or remarried, because she was still listed as living in the home at 131 N. Duluth Avenue in 1929 and other sources say the museum wasn’t opened to the public until 1930.
Whenever it actually opened, the museum has stood the test of time and is STILL in operation today! As the collection grew, an addition had to be built in the 1930s, but visitors today can visit the Pettigrew House Museum FOR FREE and view the original collection, as well as more recent acquisitions. The house itself is part of the museum, being set up with period appropriate furnishings to show how a man of Pettigrew’s social standing would have lived during that time period. If one is REALLY lucky, one might also encounter a ghost among its halls!
During a 2012 radio interview on local hauntings, manager Kevin Gansz discussed the hauntings, saying that the second floor of the old Victorian mansion was known for its darker, heavier mood. The mansion is also known for possibly three different ghostly inhabitants, one of who is believed to be Pettigrew’s second wife, Roberta. While working in Mrs. Pettigrew’s room, Gansz experienced a phantom scent of heavy perfume, believed to have been a sign of Mrs. Pettigrew.
Mrs. Jennie McMartin, who passed away in 1908, is also believed to still be in the home. According to The Apparition Atlas by Daniel Diehl, Jennie has been seen wandering about the house, inspecting it to ensure that her home is kept in good order. The third apparition, which is mentioned in the book, appears to be a little girl wearing a white dress who appears on the staircase landing. Some her have seen her claim that she has blood on her face. Research into the house’s history done by Kevin Gansz indicate that the McMartin family did lose a child while living in the home, which may account for those sightings. And, according to research I found on Find-a-Grave, Mr. Pettigrew had a maiden sister who lived in the home with the family and passed away there in October of 1922—could SHE be one of these female apparitions as well?

Spook Of The Day #286 • That time Jimi Hendrix saw a ghost in Mayfair
Most places in London can somehow be classed as haunted. But rarely do such locations include a 200 year old German composer, an exorcist, and Jimi Hendrix.
In 2001, two people were preparing George Frideric Handel’s old Mayfair home as a museum when the air grew thick. They saw a tall, dark, womanly figure in the room. A whiff of perfume followed the apparition. She was spotted once again before they decided an exorcist was their best bet.
But this was not the first sighting of such a spirit. Oh no. In the 1960s, another musical icon saw a ghost in the house next door...
Want to hear somethin’ spooky everyday/sometimes/when I’m bothered? Hit follow.

But for some reason I really want to go to Zak Bagans museum to check out everything that he has. This is going to sound dumb but I am terrified of The Dybbuk Box. Not only bc it has a Dybbuk in it but just bc of the fact if you touch it you will become cursed. I'm debating if I should go there for my birthday..... or should I not go? I need answers

Merchant’s House Museum Manhattan, New York
As another house-turned-museum, the Merchant’s House Museum was home to the Tredwell family of Seabury, Eliza, and their 8 children between 1835 and 1933. The museum seems unassuming, wedged between two residences in Manhattan, but it is the only family home in New York City to survive intact from the 19th century. As such, you can peruse the Tredwells’ furniture, decorations, and other belongings.
Volunteers, visitors, and staff alike have reported slamming doors, creaking floors, and otherworldly voices. Seabury and his daughters are the most common visitors, with the youngest, Gertrude, having lived her entire life here – from birth in 1840 to death at age 93. The house is so active that paranormal investigator Dan Sturges makes a point of documenting activity here once a year.

A mist like apparition is captured at 4:53am by security cameras at Zak Bagans Haunted Museum.
This mist appears to emerge for just a moment, triggers the camera and surrounds the Dybbuk box held at the museum.
A Dybbuk box is s a wine box which is said to be haunted by a dybbuk. A dybbuk (from Jewish mythology) is a restless, usually malicious, spirit believed to be able to haunt and even possess the living.
In one frame, it is believed the mist forms the eyes of the Dybbuk that is held within this box. This frame resembles a fiend from hell depicted in 19th century literature.
This footage is featured in Ghost Adventures Quarantine, Season one episode four.

The two clips shown in this video showcase two different anomalies that were captured by two different security cameras both filming the Charles Manson display case (which holds his personal items, some bones and ashes) at the Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum.
Both anomalies appear to be lights of some kind however the first clip I am struggling to decide if I am seeing wings - indicating that it’s just a bug - or if what I am seeing are rays of light emitting from the anomaly.
Neither video shows anyone in the vicinity that may have something causes a reflection so I do not have any conclusive thoughts on these clips.
These clips were featured in Ghost Adventures Quarantine season one, episode two.
